A bonded labourer, kept in detention, initiated a case through a telegram. This case paved the way for the Bonded Labour Abolition Act 1992.
Who We Are

Her legacy includes: upholding constitutional freedoms (due process, equality, speech, association and religion); facilitating legal aid to the needy, the poor and the marginalised in Pakistan; promoting peace in South Asia by initiating regional programmes; and advocating democratic values.
